“The Importance of Independent Research”

Every organization has a need for an independent research team to analyze trends in their organizationand to recommend improvements to current operations.  In the US Air Force the logistics communityhad just such a team at the Air Force Logistics Management Agency.  The professionals assigned tothis agency led independent research for all evels of the Air Force in order to improve logisticsoperations around the world.  This presentation will go over the role of the Air Force Logistics Management Agency and cover a couple of case studies of some of the research accomplished by this team.
